NIU memorial will be broadcast tonight on tv, radio and internet

Northern Illinois University's memorial to honor five students killed in a Valentine's Day shooting will be broadcast live on regional television and radio stations.

The school announced that Comcast will televise the memorial on channel 103 in the Chicago area and that Rockford's cable network will air it on channel 16.

The memorial also can be heard live on radio stations including WGN-AM 720 in Chicago, WNIJ-FM 89.5 in DeKalb, WDEK-FM 92.5 in DeKalb/Chicago and WNTA-AM 1330 in Rockford.

The memorial also can be viewed online at www.niu.edu.

The event is set for 7 tonight in the school's Convocation Center.
